My name is Noah Steinmetz, I am 7 years old and have been on a board since I was 10 months, thanks to my parents! I love surfing, skating and snowboarding and I cant wait to compete this year in the NSSA and WSA!

About Me

Noah Steinmetz: My name is Noah Steinmetz, I am 7 years old and have been on a board since I was 10 months, thanks to my parents! I started tandem surfing with my parents in Hawaii at age 4. At age 5, Buttons Kaluhiokalani got me in my first surf contest, The Rell Sunn Menehune Classic at Makaha. My dad and I tandemed and got 1st! I have been hooked on competing ever since! A week later, I learned how to ride boards on my own at Haliewa on the North Shore. I came back to California and started competing in the South Bay Surf Series 2010/2011. I have made the finals in every event and placed 3rd overall in the Micro Grom Division (11&Under)for the whole season! I have also done a couple NSSA contests this season and my dad and I placed 2nd in the 12 &Under Father/Son Division at NSSA Family affair event! I have been featured in a Disney kids Magazine as well as a photo in Ghetto Juice Surf Magazine 2011, issue #6! My goals for next year are to compete full time in WSA, NSSA events as well as the South Bay Surf Series!
